What is an Illuminating Text? There are several ways we can learn about God, and two of them are nature and God's Word. See Psalm 19 for examples. An Illuminating Text seeks to combine these two aspects--God's creation in the picture and God's Word in the text.
Psalm 119:105 says "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path." An Illuminating Text puts that light into a form that is easily displayed.
The Living Word, the Lord Jesus Christ, is the Light of the World. He brings light and dispels darkness. See John Chapter 1.
My mission for Illuminating Texts is to spread that light through both the Living and Written Word of God, by placing them on display. The result: sinners saved and Christians encouraged.
